What's New at the Cambridge Public Library

Library Book Sale-

The Friends of the Cambridge Public Library want you to stop in at their BOOK SALE. Lots of book donations have just been received and shelved by the Friends in their Book Sale room. Soooo... come and do your Summer shopping at the Book Sale and help support the Friends of the Cambridge Library and all they do to help the library.

Books to be sold at the BOOK SALE may be left at the library during the hours the library is open. The library is open M-W-F 6:30 P.M.-9:00 P.M.; T & Th 1:00-5:00P.M.and

Sat. 10:00 a.m.- 5:00 P.M. The Friends of the Cambridge Public library are in need of childrens' books, adult fiction, and Juvenile and Adult nonfiction books that are in good condition for the Book Sale.

The Booksale is in need of paperbacks, adult fiction, and children's books in good condition! Please no nonfiction books, no encyclopedias, no text books, no Reader's Digest books, and no magazines.

Friends meeting

On Thursday afternoon December 10th at 1:30PM the Friends of the Cambridge Library will hold their monthly meeting.

All are welcome to attend. The Friends of the Library is an important support to the various programs of the library and needs YOUR support.

Thanksgiving

The library will be closed Thanksgiving day and the day after(November 26 and 27). The library will be open Saturday, November 28th, for its regular hours.

Preschool Story Hour

On Tuesday mornings at 10:00am until 11:00 am the preschool Story Hour will meet at the Cambridge Public Library. The preschool Story Hour meets weekly from September through June in accord with the school calendar. This is a wonderful opportunity for preschool children and their caregivers to have stories read to them in a group setting. Sometimes a simple craft is done. Light refreshments are furnished on a rotating basis by the caregivers. All adults who bring children to the programs are encouraged to take a turn reading and leading a program.
